Purpose

Life review coaching provides the necessary time and space to evaluate your progress towards your goals. Without setting aside this time for reflection, how can you know if the decisions, behaviours, and actions of the past few years have helped you advance toward your desired life path? Reflection is one of the most fundamental skillsets of successful people.

Coaching is tailored to the individual and can include:

  • Three to six months coaching engagement
  • One-on-one coaching sessions
  • Surveys and exercises
  • Tangible Development Plan

What does coaching involve?

The coaching involves taking the following steps to evaluate and evolve your goals effectively:

  1. Reflecting on Your Current Goals: Assessing each one and considering f they still resonate with you. Are they aligned with your current values and passions?
  2. Identifying Changes in Circumstances: Think about any changes in your life that may have impacted your priorities. This could include shifts in your career, relationships, health, or personal interests. Understanding these changes will help you see why certain goals may no longer fit.
  3. Reconnecting with Your Passions: Spending time identifying what truly excites you. What are you passionate about now? Consider how these passions can inform your goals moving forward. A goal rooted in passion is more likely to sustain your motivation.
  4. Clarifying Your ‘Why’: For each goal, articulating the underlying reason you set it in the first place. Why is it important to you? How does it contribute to your overall happiness and fulfillment? Having a clear ‘why’ can serve as a powerful motivator when challenges arise.
  5. Setting SMART Goals: If you decide to revise or create new goals, ensure they are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This framework can help create a clear roadmap and track your progress effectively.
  6. Creating an Action Plan: Breaking down your goals into actionable steps. What specific actions do you need to take to move closer to each goal? Creating a timeline for these actions can help you stay organized and focused.
  7. Celebrating Progress: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Recognizing your progress can boost your motivation and reinforce the positive changes you are making in your life.

By actively engaging in this personal review process, you can ensure that your goals remain aligned with your evolving life circumstances and passions, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling journey. Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about growth and staying true to yourself along the way.
